Pencloe Wind Farm submitted a planning application on December 20th to request for work to take place on Sundays until March 2025. Not that the planning application really matters to them since they were working on Sundays at the start of December 2024.
Do the residents and locals ever get a break? Given all the issues we’ve faced so far, why not just add another day and make it seven days a week? Sunday is the only day we actually get peace.

Thanks to everyone who had emailed! In short: Sunday working will not be supported at this time by the Planning Authority.
Part of the response has been provided by the Planning Authority relating to this below:
We have had a formal request from the developer to allow very limited scale Sunday working and an application is with us for that. However, I personally had a discussion with the developers agent early last week and advised them that we would not support this application at the moment, given the recent problems with the Afton Road access route. On this basis there is no permission to work on Sunday and this was made clear to the developer, which they acknowledged. If for any reason Sunday working is occurring despite this, that would be a breach of their conditions and could be subject to enforcement action.
